If you prefer to use two different spaces we also offer packages with two ballrooms (one for ceremony and or cocktail reception and one for dinner and dancing) that start at $2,500 for four hours ($3,000 for five) with a $5,000 food and beverage minimum (pre-tax and service) but if you hit and maintain a $12,000 food and beverage minimum (pre-tax and service) the facility fee drops to $1,250 for four hours ($1,750 for five).

Let’s talk weddings, receptions and choices today.  There are over 300 different venues in the St. Louis/St. Charles and surrounding areas that can accommodate anything from very small weddings to some that can host super large weddings.  Some have outdoor space, some don’t.  Some add up to 30%+ with tax and gratuity charges and others charge for upgraded linens, napkins, and plate settings.    Some will have an on-staff wedding coordinator, some will charge extra for the dance floor, while others provide lots of extras like champagne for the wedding party and complimentary night stays (mainly hotels).    Some have a base charge of $19.95 per guest – and some are as high as $100.0/guests.  Some charge a room fee – others don’t.    And, there are many MORE variables.

Kuhs Estate & Farm

Oak Tree Ceremony
Kuhs Estate & Farm is a private historic 150 acre estate and farm located in Spanish Lake, Missouri.  It is a beautiful location on the Missouri Bluffs that overlooks the Confluence.  It is known for its gorgeous landscape, quaint farm, stunning rock garden and beautiful scenic vistas.

Ceremony

This venue consists of two sides that may be rented together or separately.  The Farm Side is a working farm by day and offers lots of typical farm experiences such as hay rides, carriage rides, and bonfires.  There is a beautiful Oak Tree that is such a memorable spot to say your vows.  The Estate Side has the epic backdrop of the Missouri and Mississippi river, a stone terrace, and a romantic Gazebo atop the river bluffs plus the multi-level sunken garden.

Sunken Gardens

This is an OUTDOOR venue so you will need to have arrangements for inclement weather (a tent is recommended) plus port-a-potties.   Booking includes use of the property from 10am until 11pm.  They also rent chairs, décor, furniture and staging items.   The Farm Side is $3200 for Saturdays and $2500 for Friday and Sundays.  The Estate side is $3200 for Saturdays and $2500 for Fridays and Sundays.  You may also book both sides for $6000 on a Saturday or $4800 for a Friday or Sunday.  This is a beautiful setting for a wedding and is designed for wedding budgets around the $30,000 level.
